2024-2025 FAFSA Updates

The FAFSA application, usually available at this time, is expected to be available in December 2023 for the 2024-2025 academic year. An official release date has not yet been set. All contributors (students and parents of dependents) will need an FSA ID. You cannot create an FSA ID and do the application on the same day. The process of creating an FSA ID can be started today. For additional updates and to prepare to file, we recommend you visit studentaid.gov and NASFAA's Student and Parent Resource page.

Need to submit additional documents to the Financial Aid Office?

Do you need to submit additional tax forms or other financial aid documents? Click Document Submission Form to submit directly to our office. You will need to sign in with your Net ID and password, complete, sign, and submit. Once you submit, you will receive an email confirmation.

*Forms received and intended for other departments will not be reviewed.*

Registration Blitz

The Student Success and Academic Support Services area is excited to invite you to our Registration Blitz event on November 16, 2023 from 11 a.m. - 4 p.m. in the Student Center Ballroom. Students will have the opportunity to meet with advising, register for Winter 2024 classes, speak with Service EMU about registration holds, talk to faculty about their programs, meet campus resources, enjoy snacks, play games, and win prizes! 

Do you have outstanding requirements?

You can check via your My.Emich account by following these steps:

1. Log into my.erebyaparis.com
2. Locate the “Financial Aid and Bill Payment” card
3. Click the Financial Aid Status link
4. Select the correct aid year in the top right drop down menu
5. Review Student Requirements
6. Submit Unsatisfied Requirements

Student Loan Repayment

The U.S. Department of Education's COVID-19 relief for student loans is ending this year.  Student loan payments will be due starting in October.  Please visit studentaid.gov for more information.
